HALIFAX — Holloway Lodging Corp. has acquired the Days Inn hotel in Sydney, N.S.
The hotel has 167 guestrooms, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, a pool and fitness centre as well as several thousand square feet of office space. Holloway plans to renovate and rebrand the property during the winter off-season, which will cost approximately $1.25 million, with plans to reopen next spring.
The purchase price for the property was $2.1 million, approximately $12,600 per room.
