TORONTO — Days Inn – Cranbrook in British Columbia has reopened following a $2-million renovation, boasting new interiors, exteriors and ownership.

The Realstar Hospitality team was there to celebrate the grand reopening with new owner Alnoor Nathoo, who purchased the property in May. Nathoo also owns the Days Inn & Suites – Cochrane in Alberta and Days Inn – Calgary Northwest. “The property remained closed for just about a month in order for us to renovate both the hotel exterior and interior,” said Nathoo. “In order to provide ideal accommodations for business and leisure travellers alike, we knew a full overhaul was required.”

Guestrooms at the 89-room property have been repainted and filled with contemporary dark wood furniture, new tile and tubs in the bathroom and beds featuring triple-sheeting. A renovated lobby, fitness centre and meeting room complement the new furniture and carpeting throughout the hotel. The Days Inn – Cranbrook features a Daybreak Café, outdoor heated pool and an on-site laundry for guests will be open in October.
