VANCOUVER — The B.C. Chapter of the American Marketing Association (BCAMA) has named Destination Vancouver winner of the Marketer of the Year award for 2022. The award will be presented at the 50th annual Marketer of the Year Gala at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on November 24.

“The BCAMA is pleased to pay tribute to Destination Vancouver with the 2022 Marketer of the Year Award. This annual honour is bestowed upon a B.C.-based organization that demonstrates marketing excellence through all that they do,” says Lex Perry, president of BCAMA. “The Judging Committee was impressed with how Destination Vancouver demonstrated marketing distinction through their agility in times of uncertainty, collaboration with partners and the community, the breadth of high-quality, interconnected marketing initiatives, the creativity behind those initiatives, and the outstanding results that together helped inspire and rebuild Vancouver’s tourism economy.”
