VANCOUVER — Philip Barnes has been appointed regional vice-president of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in the Pacific Northwest.
“I’m thrilled to be located in Vancouver’s true destination within a destination: Fairmont Pacific Rim,” he said. “As a hotel, we may be only a toddler in age, but we’ve already hosted clientele who are in the top echelons of entertainment, business and leisure.”
Born in Manchester, England, Barnes has more than 30 years of international experience. He’s managed the Shangri-La, Four Seasons and Stamford Hotels internationally in Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
