VANCOUVER — Destination Canada has launched a Canada Expedia microsite — an online portal that provides a Canadian presence within the Expedia brand portfolio.
The organization worked closely with its partners in all 13 provinces and territories, as well as the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada and Canadian Ski Council, to develop a highly functional and robust content hub.
The microsite is designed to make destination selection, planning and booking easier for visitors. It features more than 150 pre-existing articles; 14 15-second custom hero videos, which appear on each partner page; and close to 40 custom image galleries profiling regions and experiences from across the country.
A French language version of the microsite will launch in early September.
