PHOENIX — Heading into its 70th year in operation, Best Western Hotels & Resorts revealed it has reached major milestones, including earning an average RevPAR index of 110 during the past four years.

The Phoenix-based company also generated $4 billion in revenue in North America, $1.4 billion in revenue from its central reservation system and $1.5 billion from its Best Western Rewards program.

“This is an incredible time at Best Western. We have launched a new look for our brand, two new mid-scale boutique concepts, called Vib and GLō, and unveiled an enhanced mobile digital platform,” says David Kong, president and CEO of Best Western Hotels & Resorts.

The company’s pipeline currently stands at 205 projects, of which 60 per cent are new-build hotels.
“We have set aggressive goals for developing new construction projects and with the introduction of our new refreshed, contemporary prototypes, we are seeing increased interest from developers,” says Ron Pohl, SVP of Brand Management for Best Western Hotels & Resorts. “With our newest concepts Vīb and GLō, we now offer hotel developers seven types of products that cover the hottest segments in the industry.”
