PARSIPPANY, N.J. — The team at Wyndham Grand is reviving the traditional coffeehouse experience with the launch of Brew Parlor, developed in partnership with award-winning culinary chef Stephanie Izard and mixologist, Ivy Mix.
“We believe travel should be approachable by design, where everyday experiences — like the quick cup of coffee our Wyndham Grand hotels serve hundreds of thousands of times a day — are transformed into moments to savour,” says Mark Anderson, VP of Food and Beverage for Wyndham Grand.
Chef Izard has created several exclusive coffee beverages such as Five Spice Shaken Iced Coffee with Thai chili, cinnamon, clove, star anise and sweetened condensed milk; Biscotti Coffee with almond whipped cream and simple syrup made of star anise, fennel seed and orange zest. Exclusive cocktails, created by Mix, include The Impetus Spritzer with St. Germain, Canada Dry tonic and Cynar; Spurred Ground with cold-brewed coffee infused with oloroso sherry, Italian vermouth, premium rum and Amaro.
Brew Parlor runs is being piloted at Wyndham Grand hotels Chicago, U.S.; Doha, Qatar; Shenzhen, China and Istanbul, Turkey with plans to roll out Brew Parlor to its global portfolio of hotels throughout 2016.
