TORONTO — The Four Points brand is accelerating its portfolio growth across Canada with the opening of Four Points Barrie — the brand’s 10th hotel in Ontario.

“We’re thrilled to debut Four Points in Barrie as we continue to aggressively expand the brand in key markets across Canada,” says Brian McGuinness, SVP of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. “Starwood’s fastest-growing brand, Four Points recently crossed the 200th hotel milestone worldwide and continues to grow at a phenomenal pace.”

Managed by Easton’s Group of Hotels, the newly renovated, 78-room property caters to the modern traveller with an emphasis on approachable design and comfort. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness centre, business centre, free Wi-Fi and Best Brews and BBQ, featuring local beers and seasonal BBQ-style appetizers at the hotel’s lounge. The hotel also features 1,402-sq.-ft. of meeting facilities and full-service dining at Wellington Lounge.

Four Points is on track to expand its portfolio of rooms by nearly 60 per cent in the next five years, with seven properties expected to open in early 2016 including Four Points Regina.
