MONTREAL — Yotel Boston has installed Dormakaba’s BLE-ready Saflok Quantum RFID electronic locks.
The 326-cabin Yotel Boston is the third Yotel property to install Dormakaba for guestroom locks. Yotel also uses Dormakaba electronic locks at its New York property and expects to complete installation of Dormakaba locks in Yotel San Francisco in early 2018.
All Dormakaba RFID locks are compatible with IOS and Android smart devices.
“Dormakaba has been a partner of Yotel for many years, beginning with deployment of access-control systems and locks in our first YotelAir at London Gatwick Airport 10 years ago,” says David Manning, Yotel HQ IT programme manager.
“Dormakaba understands the requirements of domestic and international hospitality operators,” says Dormakaba vice-president Stephen Pollack. The company’s products augment hotel locking systems and manage elevator, parking, common areas and back-of-house access, he adds.
