WASHINGTON, D.C. — A list of 22 of the best hotels in Canada has just been released by Washington-based publication, U.S. News & World, and Montreal’s Ritz-Carlton earned the number-1 spot for the second year in a row.

The Ritz was commended for its stylish decor, its on-site greenhouse and its French restaurant, Maison, Boulud, which is helmed by celebrity chef Daniel Boulud. Second on the list was Vancouver-based Rosewood Hotel Georgia, noted for its contemporary accommodations, its indoor saltwater pool, and its Reflections Outdoor Restaurant and Lounge. Toronto’s Trump International Hotel and Tower earned the number-3 spot.

Almost 220 Canadian hotels we’re evaluated and ranked based on star ratings, visitor reviews, expert recommendations and industry accolades.
