TORONTO Skyline Hotels & Resorts today announced two new additions to their expanding sales team. Katherine Ross joined the company in September as Regional Sales Manager, Corporate and Entertainment, and Nicole Desjardins will fill the role of Regional Sales Manager for Association and Government accounts.

Both Katherine and Nicole bring a wealth of experience to the Skyline sales team. Katherine comes to Skyline having more than 15 years’ experience in sales at Metropolitan Hotels, where she handled corporate and entertainment accounts for three luxury properties in Toronto and Vancouver.  During her tenure at Metropolitan, Katherine was dedicated to developing and branding the hotels as a leader in the entertainment market. She credits her strong relationship skills and fair negotiation style for exceeding her sales goals every year of the last decade.

A certified meeting professional, Nicole has more than 20 years’ experience in sales at several Toronto hotels, including the Hilton Toronto Airport, Novotel and Renaissance properties. During her time with Hilton, Nicole was a key player in helping to increase the hotel’s convention market reach by 300 per cent. She is the recipient of Hilton’s Circle of Excellence Worldwide award and the Hilton Worldwide Chairman Award for overachieving sales goals in 2010.
