TORONTO — Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel will welcome Reese’s Book Club, a part of Candle Media’s Hello Sunshine, for the second installation of the Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library on January 12. This collaboration serves as a cornerstone of the new Gatherings by Sheraton program, which features weekly experiences aimed to help guests and locals feel inspired by the stories and cultures of communities around the world, ultimately helping guests get the most out of their travels.
The Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library is at the heart of this program and debuted in October of 2023 at Sheraton Grand Los Angeles, bringing hundreds of guests and locals together through a shared love of reading. As part of the experience at each property, guests and locals can discover the full back catalog of Reese’s Book Club picks, as well as new genres and local book selections, either by cozying up inside the Lobby Library or purchasing a copy to take home.
Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is the only Canadian stop on the Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library tour and serves as a standout opportunity to highlight the hotel’s recently completed transformation. The official program launches to the public on January 12, with a Popcorn & Pages event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. On January 23, the Lobby Library will also host the program’s signature Beyond the Page speaker series, with Reese’s Book Club author, New York Times best-selling author and Toronto native, Marissa Stapley. A guided Book of the Month discussion event will take place on January 31. The pop up will run through February 12.
“Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel has more than 50 years’ worth of stories and of being a gathering place for travellers and locals,” says Tim Reardon, area general manager. “We’re thrilled to be part of this collaboration with Reese’s Book Club, the Internet’s biggest book club, and bring our communities together through a shared love of reading.”
Following the successful launch of Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library, we’re thrilled to take this special program to Toronto, further uniting our global communities and inspiring even more conversation through the joy of reading,” says Sarah Harden, CEO, Hello Sunshine. “At Hello Sunshine, we see every day the power that books have to create bond and meaningful moments, and we look forward to fostering those lasting connections at Sheraton Centre Toronto hotel – as well as Sheraton lobbies around the world.”
