MTN House By Basecamp Lobby

TORONTO — The newest property from Basecamp Resorts, MTN House By Basecamp, has opened its doors in Canmore, Alta.

With newly renovated guestrooms, family suites and pet-friendly accommodations, MTN House By Basecamp provides guests with premium amenities including high-end bedding and furniture, in-room dining service, coffee products by Monogram, a communal outdoor hot tub (opening soon), spa services (starting in 2024), shuttle services, a full-service front desk and concierge, e-bike rentals and more. Additional hotel services will launch throughout the summer as the team completes Rhythm & Howl, the hotel’s restaurant, café and bar helmed by chef Jason Leizert, which is slated to open in September.

The three-storey 99-room hotel was designed with a refined rustic aesthetic inspired by the local culture and natural wonders. The hotel boasts a spacious lobby lounge with a grand two-sided wood-burning fireplace, multiple comfortable work and seating areas, vintage accessories, a fishing hut photo booth, artwork by local artists and espresso and cocktails bars (opening soon).

Additionally, MTN House By Basecamp will be home to Canmore, Alta.’s first Nordic Spa, which is slated to open in winter 2024. The hotel’s premium indoor spa, offering massages, manicures, pedicures, facials and other services, will be open in spring 2024.
