BETHESDA, Md. — Marriott International has launched a master class series for its Marriott Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) members. The new offer will allow members of the company’s loyalty programs to take part in unique interactive learning experiences with experts in various fields, including sports, culinary and entertainment.

“Our members believe life is an adventure worth pursuing,” says David Flueck, senior vice-president of Global Loyalty, Marriott International. “We’re focused on taking the best of Marriott’s loyalty programs — including our partnerships and extraordinary portfolio of hotels — and stepping it up with master classes that provide transformative experiences travellers cannot get anywhere else.”

The first collection of global classes features sessions with basketball great Dwyane Wade, Hall of Fame golfer Annika Sörenstam, chef Eric Ripert and surfer Laird Hamilton. Future master classes, which will be added in the coming weeks and months, will continue to tap into Marriott International’s breadth of brands, including the recently launched Sound Suite at the W hotels, as well as exclusive partnerships with music companies and popular music venues around the world.
