TORONTO — The Broadview Hotel has announced it will open on July 27th for a summer soft-opening.
The 126-year-old, 58-room hotel has undergone an extensive rehabilitation and renovation. The property’s ground floor restaurant — The Civic — is set to open late this summer. The hotel will also feature a rooftop lounge and more than 4,000 sq. ft. of event space.
“Our vision is to create a destination that honours the building’s history and transforms the space into a landmark hub that reflects east-end culture,” says Les Mallins, president of Streetcar Developments and hotel proprietor. “The building has been a cornerstone in the community and we’re excited to welcome people back inside.”
The hotel’s guestrooms were designed by DesignAgency and will feature artwork curated through a partnership with Tatar Art Projects and Project Gallery.
