TORONTO — Jeff Waters has been appointed GM of Toronto’s King Edward Hotel.

“Jeff’s extensive experience transitioning brands and his passion for the service industry makes him an ideal candidate to lead our team to continued success at The King Edward Hotel,” says Kevin Toth, president and COO of Skyline Hotels & Resorts. “We’re excited to welcome Jeff to the Skyline team at this important time in The King Edward Hotel’s history.”

With 25 years of experience in hospitality management, Waters previously worked at Marriott, Delta, Renaissance and Four Seasons Hotels. He most recently served as GM of the Delta Toronto Airport West. Waters is a director of the Greater Toronto Hotel Association and regional sales advisor for Tourism Toronto.

Currently, the hotel is undergoing renovations, which are expected to be complete by 2014.
