VANCOUVER — Destination Canada announced that its Incentive Canada event has been postponed until 2022.
Previously scheduled to take place August 4 to 6, 2021 in Halifax, the decision was made to reschedule after careful consideration of various factors, including current restrictions. Incentive Canada has been tentatively postponed to July 10 to 14, 2022 and would take place at Fox Harb’r Resort, Nova Scotia.
However, Destination Canada is exploring the option of offering a new, smaller winter Incentive Canada event in the fourth quarter of 2021. The goal of this event would be to support host communities that have been closed during a majority of the pandemic.
Incentive Canada is Destination Canada’s signature event, which provides opportunities to showcase Canadian destinations and create meaningful in-person connections with international corporate clients and agencies.
In the meantime, the Destination Canada Business-Events team is increasing its business-development efforts by identifying additional qualified attendees and potential clients and nurturing these relationships.
