CALGARY — Hotel Arts partnered with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) to create a new catering program for meetings, events, weddings and student meal plans called Curated Catering.

Curated Catering will provide a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, ranging from salads to three-course meals for campus catering and events, in addition to food services at the new Begin Tower Dining Centre, opening in September.

This really speaks to SAIT supporting local business and engaging the community as partners.”

“SAIT is pleased to be joining forces with Hotel Arts on this innovative partnership, one that will provide a high-quality food service and experience to our SAIT community,” says Dr. David Ross, SAIT president and CEO. “Hotel Arts has trained and hired hundreds of SAIT graduates, including many who are currently with the hotel. By extension of this partnership, we know graduates from our internationally-ranked School of Hospitality and Tourism will go on to work in this industry – supporting the re-opening of the sector and the re-building of our local economy.”

The initiative is being led by Holly Parks, Hotel Arts’ director of Food and Beverage, and Quinn Staple, Hotels Arts’ executive chef and SAIT alumnus.

“We’re looking forward to building a great relationship with SAIT and its students while preparing delicious and nutritious meals that bring comfort and satisfaction,” says chef Staple.
