LAVAL, Que. — Groupe Hôtelier Grand Château has unveiled the new Sheraton Laval and a re-designed convention centre, following a major $20-million renovation.

The Sheraton now offers a 45,000 sq. ft. space for corporate events. For conference organizers, the 22,000 sq. ft. space is fully modular, with removable glass partitions and mechanical walls that can be arranged based on the needs of an event. In fact, it’s possible to have up to eight multi-purpose rooms, which can be configured 70 different ways.

Additionally, the new La Lavalloise room has direct access to the outdoor terrace, allowing events to be held both indoors and outdoors. The multi-media tools have also been upgraded, including the sound and lighting options.

Furthermore, the new Comptoir Gourmand La Spesa is an on-the-go dining concept, serving coffee, sandwiches and fresh salads. With La Spesa, organizers can offer participants more flexible food options. Daily visitors and customers to the hotel can also appreciate this dining experience.

La Piazza restaurant also has a new look, with chef Eric Robidoux at the helm serving an Italian and Mediterranean-inspired menu.
