TORONTO — The 575-room Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Downtown finished a $14.5 million renovation to its guestrooms, public areas, meeting spaces and interiors.

Its Courtyard Hall and Foyer, Spadina, Porter and Wood meeting rooms have new carpeting, lighting and furnishings. The hotel’s lights were revamped with a low-energy consumption and environmental footprint reduction in mind, with LED lighting throughout the property. A complete overhaul to its internet services was part of the renovation as well.

The property received the Hotel Association of Canada’s 4 Green Key Eco-Rating, awarded to a hotel that has shown national industry leadership and commitment to protecting the environment through various policies and practices.
