HAMILTON, Ont. — Expected to open in fall 2026, Hyatt Place Hamilton McMaster Innovation Park and Hyatt House Hamilton McMaster Innovation Park, a dual-branded property, will be situated in the heart of McMaster Innovation Park (MIP), located approximately two kilometers east of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont. MIP is Canada’s premier research and innovation park, bridging the gap between research innovation and industry, supporting the commercialization of research and high-impact innovations to foster life-changing transformations and advancements.
The new Hyatt Place Hamilton McMaster Innovation Park and Hyatt House Hamilton McMaster Innovation Park will be welcomed by local businesses and researchers at MIP, McMaster University and the Hamilton community, who will have a central location for short-term and long-term stays for individuals conducting business, research collaborations, attending events or visiting the city.

Hyatt Place Hamilton McMaster Innovation Park, featuring 78 rooms, is designed to offer a seamless transition between work and leisure, while Hyatt House Hamilton McMaster Innovation Park, with 84 suite-style accommodations and well-equipped kitchens, caters to guests seeking longer stays. Together, the hotels address a wide range of traveller needs, with conveniently shared amenities including a fitness centre, indoor saltwater pool, business centre, guest laundry, free Wi-Fi, parking, and a lobby lounge offering a variety of all-day dining options.
