VANCOUVER — Marriott International is scheduled to reopen the Cascadia Hotel & Suites as a Residence Inn by Marriott in Vancouver Friday, July 27.

“We are pleased to introduce Residence Inn hotels in the Vancouver area,” said Diane Mayer, vice-president and global brand manager, Residence Inn. “When on the road for an extended period, our guests need space to spread out, maintain their life’s pace and restore their energy to help them maintain a healthy balance and routine while travelling. This new hotel offers them a seamless blend of modern style and functionality.”

The 201-suite hotel features studios and studio suites with separate living, working, dining and sleeping areas, contemporary in-suite kitchens, a complimentary daily hot breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet in suites, complimentary evening socials twice a week featuring light fare, a weekly barbecue, a 24-hour market in the lobby as well as semi-private and “social” common areas.

The hotel is owned and managed by Vancouver’s SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts.
