TORONTO — The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced plans to hold its annual National Conference at Toronto’s Sheraton Toronto Centre Hotel in conjunction with the Canadian Tourism Marketing Summit and Online Revealed Canada.

 

HAC’s conference, which will be held March 5 to 6, will feature keynote speeches from David Suzuki and Chip Conley, an author and the CEO of Joie de Vivre Hospitality.

 

The Canadian Tourism Marketing Summit, with more than a dozen events scheduled, will be highlighted by various speakers, including Rod Harris. The former CEO and president of Tourism British Columbia and current professor at B.C.’s Royal Roads University, will speak onShock Waves Facing the Industry.” The Summit runs from March 6 to 7.

 

Online Revealed Canada’s program will feature Steve Irvine, senior business leader at Facebook Canada, speaking on linking the consumer and brand voice to create relevant and memorable experiences. More than 20 workshop sessions are scheduled during the event, which runs from March 5 to 7.
