TORONTO — Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has unveiled the results of an extensive $120-million renovation of the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.

The two-year refurbishment project included a complete overhaul of all 1,372 guest rooms and suites, as well as a function space expansion and meeting room restorations.

The hotel’s newly renovated guestrooms and suites feature updated carpeting, vinyl, drapery, case goods, desks, chairs and 55” flat-screen televisions. Each room also features bedside docking stations and bedside tables equipped with electrical outlets. The rooms’ fully renovated bathrooms now include low-flow toilets, shower heads and aerated faucets.

Thanks to the addition of two new ballrooms, the Sheraton Centre now offers more than 130,000-sq.-ft. of meeting and event space.

As part of the renovation, the hotel boasts intuitive technology with its revamped wireless Internet infrastructure and installation of new access points, resulting in the faster Internet and larger bandwidth.

“Our fresh new look and comprehensive tech enhancements will enable our guests to experience a more seamless and comfortable stay at our hotel, whether for leisure or as part of a large conference,” says David Connor, area managing director for Starwood Canada and GM, Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. “When combined with our associates’ commitment to ensuring memorable guest experiences, we’re confident that Sheraton Centre Toronto will be the hotel brand of choice for modern travellers visiting this vibrant, buzzing city.”
