TORONTO ― It’s that time of year, and hotel execs are gearing up for the Ottawa-based Hotel Association of Canada’s (HAC) national conference taking place from Feb. 2 to 3 at Hilton Toronto.

Speakers include Sean Moffitt, managing director of Toronto-based Wikibrands, who will delve into 30 of the most pragmatic ideas attendees need to understand during the next 12 months. Douglas Stephens, founder of Toronto-based Retail Profit and a market researcher, will talk about the links between the world’s most successful businesses and provide tips on how others can emulate their success.

Other sessions will examine results from the “HAC Travel Intentions Survey,” which will give attendees a glimpse into potential business volumes for 2015, possible challenges and tips on how to book more business; reveal how to win over the millennial digital generation; and provide insights into the day-to-day decisions managers make that affect the long-term sustainability of any operation.
