HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. — U.S. hotel performance fell from the previous week, but year-over-year (YOY) comparisons improved, according to STR’s data for the week ending July 1.

Against the comparable week in 2022, occupancy was 69.9 per cent (up 4.1 per cent); Average Daily Rate (ADR) was US$156.27 (up 1.5 per cent) and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) was US$109.18 (up 5.7 per cent).

Among the top 25 markets, St. Louis, Miss. saw the highest YOY increases in occupancy (up 22.2 per cent to 71.6 per cent) and RevPAR (up 39.3 per cent to US$96.46). Additionally, Philadelphia posted the largest ADR lift (up 16.4 per cent to US$170.53) and the steepest RevPAR declines were seen in New Orleans (down 25.1 per cent to US$119.12) and Miami (down 10.2 per cent to US$112.20).
