TORONTO — The Sheraton Gateway Hotel in the Toronto International Airport is unveiling its $30 million transformation.

Purchased by Knightstone Capital Management in 2019, the Sheraton Gateway Hotel boasts a new lobby called the Public Square, featuring a restaurant, coffee bar, co-working spaces and soundproof booths for personal calls.

Additionally, the new Sheraton Club Lounge is an exclusive space for Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members and Sheraton Club level guests. Open 24/7, the lounge offers updated food and beverage offerings, access to complimentary amenities and enhanced connectivity in a private environment.

Finally, executive chef Pravin Kumar Bagali has curated a diverse menu for the hotel’s new part cocktail bar, part coffee bar and part grab-and-go market, &More.

“The transformation is nothing short of a metamorphosis,” says Jennifer Kazlauskis, director of Sales and Marketing at Sheraton Gateway. “Our loyal guests who’ve recently returned are blown away. You can see it on their faces as they walk in. They can’t believe they’ve stepped across the terminal and into the same hotel. The difference is night and day.”

“Our new home reflects our shared values for community and connection and prioritizes cleanliness and convenience without sacrificing style,” says Douglas Brennan, general manager, Sheraton Gateway. “And while it seems like everything has changed, our exemplary service remains. For three decades, guest reviews consistently called out the attentive service they received here. As we mark this milestone, we’re more ready than ever to carry on that tradition as we help guests navigate the new realities of travel.”
