Naturally Pacific Resort Guestrooms

CAMPBELL RIVER, B.C. — Naturally Pacific Resort, which is locally and independently owned, is set to open its doors in May 2024.

Designed in collaboration with Vancouver-based CHIL Interior Design, the resort has 100 guestrooms and suites, with interiors drawing inspiration from the natural contours of the surrounding forests, shorelines and topographical lines of the golf course. Pets are welcome, with dog-washing stations on the third floor and plush co-branded Yeti dog beds for furry guests.

The resort is home to a range of facilities, including Carve Kitchen & Meatery, Immersion Spa & Wellness and an indoor pool with floor-to-ceiling windows. Outdoor fire pits with plush seating areas, a pool deck and a hot tub complete the resort, all surrounded by the fairways of Campbell River Golf Club.

Signature restaurant, Carve Kitchen & Meatery, presents a modern interpretation of a classic North American steakhouse. Led by executive chef Ryan Watson, the menu is inspired by Vancouver Island farms and fields, supporting local producers wherever possible. Together with onsite horticulturalists, the kitchen team is helping to grow a 10,000-sq.-ft. garden, located on the resort, with the goal to produce vegetables and herbs to enhance dishes, along with a small apiary, producing honey for cocktails and dressings.

Immersion Spa & Wellness located off the hotel’s lobby, offers guests the opportunity to unwind in a custom mineral pool and refresh in Italian-made water-therapy showers. The spa provides a range of treatments, from pedicures to signature Treatment Rituals that blend ancient techniques and aromatic blends to restore balance to mind, body and energy systems.

Adjacent to the resort, Campbell River Golf Club is one of Vancouver Island’s oldest and most renowned golf courses. The 18-hole, par-71 resort-style course was re-built from tee to green, with the addition of Velocity Driving Range, an immersive virtual golf experience that uses cutting-edge technology from Toptracer – the first in Western Canada to do so – appealing to both beginners and seasoned golfers alike. Social hotspot Velocity Lounge offers innovative cocktails and a menu of shareable dishes.

“We couldn’t be more excited to unveil Naturally Pacific Resort,” says Amanda Mailman, owner and managing director. “Paying homage to my family’s deep Campbell River roots, we’re proud to share what we hope will become an iconic Vancouver Island destination resort with our community, and warmly welcome travellers from across the world to enjoy the natural beauty on our doorstep.”
