TORONTO — The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel was the scene of the inaugural Marriott Internship Luncheon, which celebrated this year’s crop of Marriott student interns, on October 7.
The gathering was the initiative of one of the interns, Soheila Mosun, who coordinated the event together with Montana Calver, Recruiting manager, University Relations – Canada, Marriott. More than a dozen interns and all Marriott Toronto-region general managers attended the event.
Underscoring the importance of developing talent within the organization, event speakers included Marriott Hotels of Canada president, Don Cleary and Ontario Deputy Premier Christine Elliott. “With the planned expansion of the Marriott brand in Canada, our Intern and Voyager programs are integral to our future success,” said Cleary.
