WINNIPEG — Lakeview Hotel Investment Corp. has announced the election of Lloyd Baker as an independent director at the company’s annual general meeting late last month.
Baker is a CPA with a certified internal-audit-speciality designation and has extensive audit experience in areas such as value for money and operational reviews. He will become a member of the Audit and the Governance and Compensation Committees of the Lakeview board.
Lakeview’s portfolio features 10 hotels, including the Lakeview Inn & Suites, Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.; Lakeview Signature Inn & Suites, Calgary; and Days Inn, Ottawa Airport.
