TORONTO — Northland Properties is announcing the opening of its first hotel property, the King Blue Hotel Toronto. The hotel pays tribute to Toronto’s history, with the front-facing exterior built from the original six storeys of the Canadian Westinghouse Company Building.

The modern luxury boutique hotel features 118 guestrooms, including seven suites, as well as an indoor swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness centre, a rooftop terrace and pet-friendly rooms.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to serve guests in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant Entertainment District,” says Robert Pratt, president of Sandman Hotel Group. “We’ll create a fun and energetic culture at King Blue by building a team of authentic, caring and exceptionally friendly people. It’s very exciting for all of us.”
