VICTORIA — The Fairmont Empress and Fairmont Château Laurier are celebrating Porter Airlines’ new non-stop flight between Victoria and Ottawa with a curated travel experience that offers convenience, comfort and connection between two historic landmarks.
The “Castle to Castle, Capital to Capital” experience aims to elevate Canadians’ travel experiences with a flight between Vancouver Island and the historic capital.
Fairmont Empress, built in 1908, is a national historic site well-known as a Canadian treasure perched on the edge of Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Whale watching, lush gardens, scenic trails and established restaurants and bars are all steps away from the hotel’s front door.
Fairmont Château also blends timeless grandeur with contemporary luxury and is located steps away from the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests can enjoy refined Canadian cuisine and breathtaking city views at La Terrasse, one of Ottawa’s best patios, from May to October. The setting offers a memorable backdrop, featuring the Parliament Buildings, Gatineau Hills and the Rideau Canal Locks.
