KML’s Green Leadership Award recognizes environmental excellence and innovation within Canada’s hospitality industry, acknowledging success in the industry by recognizing businesses that are leading the way in environmental sustainability, earning the distinction as the best in their field.

This year’s winner, Hotel X Toronto, is a LEED Silver-certified building, committed to sustainability through innovative design and best practices. The property features a range of eco-friendly initiatives, including a comprehensive recycling program, a food-composting system and a “Buy Local Products” program to support the Ontario economy.
