TORONTO — The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) is celebrating its 100th birthday at its annual conference, which will be held from Feb. 4 to 5 at the Hilton Hotel in Toronto.

The Centennial Anniversary will feature notable speakers, including Helen Marano from the World Travel and Tourism Council, who will address the complexity of change in global tourism; Claire Bishop, VP, Digital Strategy and Online Media, at MMGY Global, who will talk about Online Travel Agents; Terry O’Reilly, CBC’s Age of Persuasion host, who will discuss marketing; and Chris Thompson, CEO of Brand USA, and Michele McKenzie, Canadian Tourism Commission president, who will examine marketing within North America and promoting North America to international visitors.
