OTTAWA — The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) is currently working on the design of the government’s Guaranteed Loan Program through Business Development Bank of Canada and Export Development Canada. The association will be briefing government officials this week on why adjustments need to be made in order to ensure a smooth and efficient application process for hoteliers.
To support this work, HAC is seeking feedback from hotel owners and is asking that they complete an online survey so data regarding hotelier’s on-the-ground experience and the lending landscape can be provided to key decision makers.
“We appreciate that you’ve been asked for a lot of surveys lately, but we cannot do our work without the absolute latest data to support our positions. Thank you in advance as we continue to fight for strong policies to support the sector,” reads a statement signed by HAC president & CEO Susie Grynol.
