MCLEAN, Va. — DoubleTree by Hilton continues to report steady domestic and international growth, opening eight hotels in Q2 2019.

In June, the company opened its DoubleTree by Hilton Edmonton Downtown in the city’s arts district. The property boasts contemporary architecture, style and hospitality and features the locally sourced restaurant, Gallery Lounge & Bar.

DoubleTree continues to grow in top transit epicenters, with properties such as the recently opened DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Penn Station, strategically situated near Penn Station, Port Newark and Newark Liberty International Airport — the transit outlets of the busiest trade hub in the world.

For guests headed on vacation or leisure travel, DoubleTree continues to bring comfortable accommodations to growing international tourism hot spots. New properties such as DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Esentepe and DoubleTree by Hilton Afyonkarahisar bring the brand’s hospitality to destinations such as Turkey — a country that attracted more than 40-million tourists in 2018 and continues to grow.
