SASKATOON — Dakota Dunes Resort has won the Indigenous Tourism Experience Award at the 2023 Hospitality Saskatchewan Tourism Awards. The awards ceremony took place in celebration of outstanding contributions to Saskatchewan’s thriving tourism industry and are designed to recognize and promote excellence within Saskatchewan’s dynamic tourism sector. Nominees in various categories represent a diverse range of individuals, places, businesses, organizations and events that consistently provide exceptional tourism experiences for both visitors and residents.

Located in Whitecap, Sask., Dakota Dunes Resort is managed by Atlific Hotels and offers a range of activities, including Dakota Dunes Adventures, which invites guests to embark on four-seasons journeys that intertwine the land and its people through activities that combine heritage and adventure. The property also offers the chance to learn about the history of the Whitecap Dakota people through its Exhibit Corridor and opportunities to connect with local Indigenous artisans at its Wanuskewin Gift Shop.
