MONTREAL — Club Med has opened the doors to its first all-inclusive mountain resort, Club Med Quebec Charlevoix.

Designed by Lemay Michaud, the resort features 302 guestrooms and 25 additional suites for 5-star exclusive stays. In addition to all-season activities, Club Med Quebec Charlevoix offers a gourmet marketplace with food served buffet style in five dining rooms and two terraces, a lounge with fondue and raclette and bar concepts with on-stage entertainment.

“We’re thrilled to finally open our doors to Club Med Quebec Charlevoix and to Canada,” says Henri Giscard D’Estaing, president of Club Med. “As we ease back into travel, we know this picturesque property hidden in the mountains of Charlevoix will be a front-runner for domestic and international vacationers. Club Med has operated for more than 50 years in this country, and we’re honoured to continue our investment with the first Canadian property and first four-season mountain resort in North America.”

“Charlevoix is known for its pristine beauty, warm hospitality and charming culture,” says David Meyer, project director, Club Med North America. “Shaping Canada’s first Club Med within this region has been a complete privilege and we’re looking forward to highlighting Charlevoix’s heritage and character within every facet of the resort, staying true to Club Med’s values of social responsibility and sustainable touristic development.”

In partnership with Groupe Le Massif, Club Med’s vision will bring approximately 50,000 guests per year, creating 325 direct and 400 indirect jobs.
