MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Country Inns & Suites By Carlson announced it has changed its name to Country Inn & Suites by Radisson to allow the brand and its hotels to leverage the Radisson brand.

The changes will be made in stages throughout the first half of 2018 and will include a new visual identity, updated logo and refreshed marketing and hotel collateral. In certain circumstances, some hotels might continue to use the former name past 2018.

“We are thrilled that Country Inn & Suites will have a new name aligning it more closely with our Radisson brands,” says Ken Greene, president, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. “By aligning with our Radisson brands, Country Inn & Suites hotels will benefit from increased name awareness among new and prospective guests, while retaining its brand essence of modern country warmth enjoyed by our current guests.”

The Country Inn & Suites brand boasts more than 480 hotels in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and India.
