CLEVELAND Four Canadas Best Value Inn properties received coveted awards last week at Vantage Hospitality Group’s 13th annual International Educational Conference & Trade Show in Las Vegas.

The Canadas Best Value Desert Inn & Suites in Cache Creek, British Columbia and the Canadas Best Value Inn in Toronto, Ontario each claimed a prestigious “500 Club” award, which is presented each year to Canadas Best Value Inn and Americas Best Value Inn hotels that achieve a perfect score in their quality assurance inspection. This includes receiving excellent quality ratings in housekeeping, maintenance, appearance, life safety issues, lobby and marketing. Promoting and encompassing the brand’s reputation of providing guests with friendly, personalized service and exceptional quality at an outstanding value is also taken into consideration.

The Canadas Best Value Inn in Calgary, Alberta won a “Best of the Best” award for Best Website for hotels with less than 60 rooms. The hotel’s website (www.cbvicalgary.com) was chosen based on ease of navigation, graphics, photos, and links to CBVI’s site.

The Canadas Best Value Inn in Kamloops, British Columbia won a “Best of the Best” award for Best Marketing for hotels with less than 60 rooms. The hotel was chosen due to its excellence in local marketing efforts, including participation in the brand’s programs, marketing at consumer trade shows and implementing local advertising campaigns.

“Best of the Best” nominees were selected by Member Care Managers and Sales Support & Assurance Program Directors from each region before a committee of Vantage executives chose the winners.

“I would like to commend the Canadas Best Value Inns in Cache Creek, Toronto, Calgary and Kamloops for winning awards this year. It’s a credit to every member on staff, from the general manager to the housekeepers, that their dedication and hard work resulted in such prestigious awards,” said Roger Bloss, President & CEO of Vantage Hospitality, which is the parent company of Canadas Best Value Inn, Americas Best Value Inn and Lexington by Vantage.
