PHEONIX, Ariz. — J.D. Power’s 2017 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study has named Best Western’s complimentary-breakfast program the top consumer choice in the mid-scale food-and-beverage category.
As part of the brand’s recent transformation, Best Western Hotels & Resorts introduced a new “Build-Your-Own-Breakfast” program to all North American properties. In the J.D. Power study, Best Western properties outranked competitors, receiving high marks for the variety of food choices given to guests, food quality and friendliness of staff.
Ron Pohl, chief Operations officer and SVP for Best Western Hotels & Resorts, says after analyzing more than 1.5 million surveys, the hotel chain learned it had an opportunity to enhance the guest experience at breakfast.
