VANCOUVER — The British Columbia Hotel Association (BCHA) has announced the winners of the 2025 BCHA Awards of Excellence. Recognized by peers and industry leaders during the BCHA Awards of Excellence Gala on April 23 at the Westin Bayshore, Vancouver, this year’s recipients represent the very best of British Columbia’s hospitality sector.
Among 20 finalists, seven individuals, businesses and properties were honoured for their dedication to excellence and leadership in the industry.

- Housekeeping Excellence: The Cove Lakeside Resort
- Hotelier of the Year: Kimberley Hughes, Delta Hotels Victoria Ocean Pointe
- Sustainability Champion: Sandman Hotel Group
- Leader of the Future: Eddie Salehi, Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops
- Community Contribution Award: Lisa Jaager, Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa
- Culinary Excellence: Mitch Shafer, Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops
