ALLISTON, Ont. — Following a brave battle with cancer, Warren Bruce Adamson passed away on Sep. 22, at the age of 74.

Adamson made a remarkable contribution to the Canadian hospitality industry. He began his career at Pannell Kerr Forester and Commonwealth Hospitality before joining Ramada Franchise Canada as president. Adamson later transitioned to president and COO of AFM Hospitality Corporation and then wound up his career at InnOps Inc. and InnLand Hospitality, where his final focus was developing the Red Pine Inn in Alliston, Ont.

Adamson will be remembered by his friends, family and colleagues for his tremendous charisma, kindness, integrity and perfectly timed one-liners. He is survived by his daughters — Erin D’Ovidio, Megan Garner, Kourtney Adamson and Calie Adamson; his grandchildren — Anthony and Olivia D’Ovidio, Karlee and Hannah Garner and Benjamin Galluzzo.

In lieu of flowers, Adamson’s family asks that donations be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice, where he was looked after in his final days.
