VANCOUVER — Abbotsford, B.C.’s Ramada Plaza and Conference Centre has been purchased by Vancouver-based Wanson Development for an undisclosed sum.

On June 1, the 24,000 sq.-ft., 116-room property will begin its rebranding and will have a new general manager as well.

“We are committed to providing the local community and travellers with the highest level of comfort and service. We have plans to refresh the rooms with a new look along with other improvements that will enhance the experience for business travellers,” says Wanson Development president Dominic Li.

Red-seal executive chef Jonathan Stewart and his culinary team will continue at their posts at the conference centre.
