TORONTO — Toronto’s well-known Path system, the maze of underground walkways and tunnels connecting downtown businesses, might not provide access to the new Trump International Hotel and Tower, according to the National Post.

The Trump tower being constructed at Bay and Adelaide has a Path connection roughed-in, however Mickael Damelincourt, GM of the property, is not convinced a connection would be a wise move. “If guests arrive via the Path, they’ll take the elevator straight up to their room, and we will never see them,” he’s quoted as saying in the Post.

Patrons of the Trump restaurant on the 30th floor are another concern altogether. It’s thought Bay Street patrons who use the Path won’t visit the restaurant.
