TORONTO — Trivago has released its list of the top-rated Canadian hotels for 2018.
The Trivago Awards 2018 ranks hotels based on the highest consistent ratings according to the Trivago Rating Index (TRI), which aggregates millions of guest reviews from across multiple online sources and uses an algorithm to provide a score for each hotel.
Each year, the Trivago Awards recognize and reward hotels that represent the very best of hospitality. This year, the top-rated hotels have been awarded across six different categories: 3-star, 4-star, 5-star, Alternative Accommodation, Value for Money and Chain Hotel.
The top-rated Canadian Hotels in each category are as follows:
3-Star Hotel — Brookside Inn, Abbotsford, B.C.
4-Star Hotel — Auberge Saint Antoine, Quebec City
5-Star Hotel — Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Vancouver
Best Alternative Accommodation — BranCliff Inn 1859, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.
Best Value for Money Accommodation — Historic Davy House B&B, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.
Top-Rated Hotel Chain — Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts
All winning hotels receive certificates to put on display, widgets for their website and social-media pages. The number-1 hotel in each category also receives a Trivago Awards trophy along with a winner’s badge for their hotel profile.
