CALGARY — TripAdvisor has recognized eight Travelodge hotels across Canada with its 2018 Certificate of Excellence designation, which honours hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service across the world. A total of 24 North American Travelodge properties received the designation for 2018, including the following eight hotels in Canada:
- Travelodge Hotel & Conference Centre Regina
- Travelodge Strathmore
- Travelodge Suites Halifax Dartmouth

“Travelodge Canada is proud to have eight Canadian properties recognized for the prestigious TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence,” says Trevor Hagel, executive vice-president, Operations, Travelodge Canada. “This designation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the general managers and staff at these exceptional hotels. The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a seal of approval from our loyal guests, who strongly value the Travelodge brand.”
This designation is awarded to approximately 10 per cent of total businesses on TripAdvisor that have consistently achieved great customer reviews and outstanding ratings over the past year. Specifically, winners have earned a bubble rating of at least four out of five, accrued a minimum number of reviews and have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least the past 12 months. There is no application process for the Certificate of Excellence and the achievement is earned over time.
