CALGARY — Travelodge by Wyndham Edmonton Airport recently completed an extensive renovation.

Upgrades to the guestrooms include new triple-sheet bedding, artwork, 43” flat-screen TVs, granite counters in the bathrooms and modern decor. The renovations also include a new breakfast room, which can seat 60 guests and can be used for casual meetings or groups, including sports teams. Additionally, stylish new furniture and flooring have been added throughout the hotel’s common areas. On the exterior, the hotel has been fully painted for a fresh new look.

Owned and managed by the Bhamra family, Travelodge by Wyndham Edmonton Airport offers 65 guestrooms with both interior and exterior guest access. A variety of room types are available, including large suites with full kitchens and separate living areas, as well as Jacuzzi suites. Other amenities include free continental breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking and 24-hour airport-shuttle service, as well as laundry facilities.

“The Bhamra family are such great operators and ambassadors of the Travelodge brand, both with their Edmonton Airport hotel and their Travelodge in Cranbrook, B.C.,” says Trevor Hagel, executive vice-president, Operations, Travelodge Canada. “We look forward to continuing growth with the family.”
