TCL is pleased to welcome Kris Crundwell to the executive role of Vice President of Sales, effective March 26, 2013.

Prior to joining TCL, Kris enjoyed a progressive career in the hospitality industry, boasting over 15 years of experience at the leadership level. A strategic and innovative executive, Kris was responsible for sales/revenue strategy and segment performance in addition to leading a team of 40 during his tenure with Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc.

Kris’s natural ability to build strong, lasting relationships while managing key stakeholders and client expectations will play a key role in driving sales for the new convention centre.

A recipient of many national awards for business development including the 2012 Hotel Association of Canada Hall of Fame Humanitarian Award and the 2005 InterContinental Hotels Group Top Team Award, Kris’s success is evident in his ability to lead successful teams and translate forecast results into bottom line revenue.

Kris is also a proud member of the community who sits on the Board of Directors for Make A Wish, Atlantic Canada, in addition to being highly involved with Feed Nova Scotia. His strong passion for community involvement was recognized in 2010 when he was awarded the ‘Community Mentor Award’ (Halifax) by Big Brothers Big Sisters.

In his position as Vice President of Sales, Kris will lead his team of experienced Sales Managers to drive sales for the new convention centre. In particular, Kris will leverage his strong business relationships to target and land national, international and corporate business for the new convention centre. Kris will also ensure that each member of the team achieves their individual objectives resulting in overall team success.
