TORONTO — The Globe and Mail editors have named Vancouver’s Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Hong Kong’s Ritz Carlton and London’s Corinthia hotel on a list of top 10 new hotels of 2011.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia gained attention following a $120-million redevelopment that features Canadian artists and retro architectural details. Ritz Carlton in Hong, which is the tallest hotel in the world, was chosen for its picturesque views, and London’s Corinthia wooed editors with its classic luxury.

The top 10 list also included the following hotels: Aulani, a Disney Resort in Hawaii; Edition Istanbul; Mondrian SoHo in New York; Musha Cay in Bahamas; St. Pancras in London; Taj Falaknuma Palace in India; and Le Royal Monceau in Paris.
